Role Overview

We are currently hiring a Data Scientist to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved! This is a hybrid role that requires in‑office presence in Atlanta, Georgia (Open to Relocating).

Your responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and improve decision systems and predictive models that are key to Purchasing Power's competitive advantage.
  • Explore new data sources both internal and external to Purchasing Power and use findings to further improve model performance.
  • Design, implement, and read‑in‑market experimentation testing new algorithms, technologies, and processes.
  • Prototype solutions to business problems using cutting‑edge technologies.
  • Use AI‑enabled tools throughout your workflows.
  • Recommend and support strategic changes through rigorous analytics and creative problem solving.
  • Identify, evaluate, and support the implementation of advanced analytics methods.
  • Be part of a collegial team of like‑minded data scientists.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience OR a Master’s/PhD in a quantitative or technical field (Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science).
  • Experience with R, Python, machine learning tools, and SQL.
  • Evidence of applying advanced models to real‑world problems.
  • Ability to craft rigorous research/evaluation designs.
  • AI‑enabled tools are already part of how work gets done across our organization, and their use will continue to expand over time.
