Job Summary:
Venteur is a Series A startup focused on revolutionizing health insurance to make it more affordable and user-friendly. They are seeking a Principal/Lead Engineer to enhance the scalability and robustness of their fintech applications, directly impacting users' health insurance experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical, operational, and business requirements for our platform.
• Design and build end-to-end experiences for the Venteur platform, focusing on usability, scalability, and performance.
• Architect efficient and scalable systems to meet customer demand and enhance user experiences.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, operations, and customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
• Continuously analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems.
• Contribute to recruiting efforts and messaging; lead and mentor new hires and other engineers.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of experience building impactful products at scale.
• Both front-end and back-end experience coupled with anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally.
• Commitment to high-quality code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation, and has appropriate production observability.
• High degree of empathy for both internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills that allow you to work effectively with distributed team members.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and knowledge of data structures, OOP, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
• Strong fintech background, having navigated financial regulatory requirements while delivering technological solutions.
