About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our team. This role bridges our Treasury and Accounting departments, combining daily cash management and payment operations with core financial accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is committed to accuracy, and is eager to grow within a dynamic financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations
  • Process and manage daily wire and ACH payments
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation across treasury management products
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, systems, and data accuracy
  • Support bank account setup, maintenance, and banking partner back-office coordination
  • Assist with fraud prevention measures including Positive Pay and related controls
  • Coordinate and resolve payment dispute issues with treasury management providers
  • Troubleshoot processing issues with internal resources and banking partners

Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end close adjustments
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with external auditors, accountants, and consultants during financial reviews
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities

Requirements
  • Must be able to work on-site from our office in Coconut Grove, FL five (5) days per week
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or a related area
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (U.S. GAAP)
  • Familiarity with treasury services (wire, ACH, RDC, Positive Pay) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
