Maxio information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Maxio (Subscription Management Software) Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Maxio Specialist, you need a solid understanding of subscription billing, SaaS revenue recognition, and financial operations, usually backed by experience in finance or accounting. Familiarity with Maxio software, ERP integrations, and data analysis tools, as well as certifications in accounting or SaaS platforms, is highly valuable. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills help in managing client needs and translating business requirements into effective billing solutions. These skills ensure accurate financial operations, customer satisfaction, and seamless integration of subscription management processes.

What is a Maxio and what do they do?

Maxio is not a traditional job title, but rather the name of a software company that provides billing and subscription management solutions for SaaS businesses. Their platform helps companies automate invoicing, manage recurring payments, handle revenue recognition, and provide analytics on subscription metrics. Professionals working at Maxio typically have roles in software development, customer success, sales, or product management, all focused on helping clients streamline their financial operations.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working at Maxio in client-facing roles?

Professionals in client-facing roles at Maxio often manage multiple accounts and must juggle competing priorities, such as responding to client inquiries, troubleshooting software issues, and coordinating with internal teams for technical solutions. A key challenge is balancing proactive customer engagement with reactive support, especially when handling a large portfolio of clients. Additionally, adapting to new product updates and ensuring clients are educated on best practices can require ongoing learning and strong communication skills. Success in these roles often depends on effective time management, collaboration, and the ability to quickly resolve complex issues.

We're looking for a hands-on Director of Revenue Operations to partner closely with our CFO, CRO, and GTM leaders to drive forecasting accuracy, optimize pipeline performance, and create scalable processes that fuel growth.

This is an opportunity for someone who loves getting into the details, building from the ground up, and using data, automation, and AI to make revenue teams more efficient.

What You'll Do

Forecasting & Executive Reporting

  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting processes and revenue reporting for executive leadership.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking pipeline coverage, conversion rates, bookings, and revenue trends.
  • Support QBRs, board materials, investor updates, and strategic planning initiatives.

Pipeline & Sales Operations

  • Lead weekly pipeline reviews alongside Sales leadership and continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Define and maintain sales stages, lifecycle definitions, and data standards.
  • Create automated workflows and alerts to identify stale opportunities, missing fields, and process gaps.
  • Support territory planning, quota tracking, compensation reporting, and sales onboarding.

HubSpot & Revenue Systems

  • Serve as the HubSpot owner, overseeing governance, permissions, workflows, integrations, and data quality.
  • Design and document scalable sales processes in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Manage partner operations including hierarchy structures, accreditation tracking, discount approvals, and ownership models.
  • Maintain clean integrations across HubSpot, billing platforms, product analytics tools, PRMs, and partner portals.

Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing to improve attribution, lead management, scoring, and campaign-to-revenue visibility.
  • Work across Finance, Product, and external vendors to ensure reliable reporting and trusted revenue data.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of Revenue Operations or Sales Operations experience within B2B SaaS.
  • Deep HubSpot expertise, including workflows, integrations, custom objects, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting a channel-led or partner-driven go-to-market motion.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building forecasts and translating metrics into business insights.
  • Proven ability to design, document, and scale processes in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort partnering with executives across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Experience in a Series A or Series B company is highly preferred.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Clay, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, MSP, MSSP, or vCISO business models.
  • Exposure to board reporting and investor communications.
  • Basic SQL skills.
  • Experience with Maxio, Impartner, or similar subscription and partner management platforms.

Why You'll Love It

  • High-impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership.
  • Opportunity to shape the systems, processes, and reporting that power a rapidly scaling business.
  • AI-first culture that embraces automation and experimentation.
  • Join at an exciting stage of growth and help build a best-in-class revenue operations function.
  • In-office role with a collaborative, fast-moving team.
