We're seeking an experienced Sushi Chef who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. If you're creative, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum two years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant; sushi experience required.
  • Expert knife skills and experience preparing sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls, and sushi rice.
  • Strong understanding of seafood handling, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and pride in presentation.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What You'll Do:
  • Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, rolls, and specialty menu items.
  • Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and according to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
  • Assist with inventory, product rotation, and minimizing waste.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen team members.
  • Adapt to seasonal features and menu changes while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience through craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Two or more years of sushi preparation experience preferred.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • ServSafe or Food Handler Certification required.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and temperatures exceeding 85°F.
  • Available to work between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer and POS knowledge is a plus.
