Role Overviewย 

Our General Offices serve as crucial hubs for our insurance agents and advisors throughout the country, providing them with support in various aspects of their business. We are seeking a motivated and efficient Operations Specialist to support the daily operations in one of our General Offices. This roleย residesย within our Service organization and is the first point of contact for agents and clients. In addition, theyย provide dedicated support to the local Managing Partner, handling administrative and operational responsibilities to streamline processes for Agency stakeholders. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, organizational abilities, effective communication,ย as well asย a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization.ย 

Whatย You'llย Doย 

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Partner and management teamย 

  • Collaboratesย with theย onsite Service Leaderย to ensure efficient operationsย 

  • Act as a point of contact for agents, addressing their inquiries promptly and professionallyย 

  • Greetย and welcome visitorsย 

  • Answer and direct phone inquiriesย ย 

  • Coordinate accounts payable and receivable, including efficiently managing requests related to Agent payments,ย submittingย operational expenses, and reconcilingย purchase cardsย 

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, to includeย incoming correspondence distributionย in accordance withย regulatory guidelinesย 

  • Assistย with facility management (building maintenance requests,ย troubleshootย local network issues, etc.)ย 

  • Manage resource assignments for new agents, ensuring their onboarding experience is smoothย 

  • Additionalย administrative duties such as controlย reports, coordinating conference rooms, preparing for meetings, and handling fingerprinting for candidatesย ย 

Whatย You'llย Bringย 

The role requires strong relationship-building skills, organizational abilities, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization.ย 

Requiredย Skills:ย 

  • Ideal candidate should haveย a minimum of 3ย yearsย experienceย inย a customerย service and/orย office administrationย 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย ย 

  • Strong computer skills withย proficiencyย in the Microsoft Office Suiteย 

  • Associates, or bachelor's degree preferred, but notย requiredย 

Training & Developmentย 

Customer Service Representatives receive on-the-job training to learn about the insurance industry, product and policy provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback are provided to help you gain the necessary skills to be successful.ย 

Shift Informationย 

This is a full-timeย onsiteย position Monday through Friday. Candidates should be flexible to work any 7.5-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.ย

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:ย $45,000-$65,000ย 

Overtime eligible:ย Nonexemptย 

Discretionary bonus eligible:ย Yesย

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
