Position Summary

The Staff Product Manager - FinOps will lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of FinOps products and adjacent digital capabilities across cloud and enterprise platforms. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, engineering, cloud financial management, and enterprise governance, and will own complex, cross-functional roadmaps and backlogs while partnering closely with engineering, architecture, finance, and cloud stakeholders.

This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strong technical fluency, cross-functional influence, and the ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments. The Staff Product Manager will drive product vision and strategy for major FinOps areas, identify new opportunities, and develop use cases for them, build frameworks and processes that strengthen product management maturity, and balance short-term wins with long-term strategic product investments. While FinOps is the core domain, the role will also support adjacent digital product management responsibilities where platform experience, workflow automation, reporting, and internal user-facing capabilities intersect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision, Strategy & Opportunity Development: Drive product vision and strategy for FinOps and adjacent digital product capabilities; identify new opportunities and develop use cases and business rationale that inform roadmap and investment decisions.
  • Roadmap, Backlog & Delivery Leadership: Own complex, cross-functional roadmaps and backlogs; balance short-term wins with long-term strategic product investments; simplify dependencies and drive execution across teams.
  • Cross-Cloud FinOps Product Management: Define and advance FinOps capabilities across AWS, Azure, GCP, and future private cloud environments, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards, governance, and business value.
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Influence: Partner with engineering, architecture, finance, cloud operations, security, and senior leadership to shape product direction, resolve tradeoffs, and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • Customer Insight & Product Outcomes: Establish strong stakeholder and user feedback loops, translate insights into measurable outcomes, and ensure products solve meaningful operational and business problems.
  • Frameworks, Processes & Product Discipline: Develop frameworks, operating mechanisms, and processes that improve prioritization, decision-making, and execution across the product organization.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years' work experience that includes 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise environments
  • 3+ years of direct product management experience in FinOps, including cloud cost visibility, optimization, forecasting, allocation, anomaly detection, or savings realization
  • 3+ years of end-of-the-end product lifecycle management experience, from concept through launch, adoption, and end-of-life in an agile environment
  • 3+ years of experience partnering across engineering, finance, cloud operations, architecture, and security to deliver product outcomes in complex
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading or scaling FinOps products, platforms, or capabilities in large, complex enterprise environments
  • Experience working across AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or private cloud environments
  • Experience with infrastructure products, particularly where FinOps intersects with platform, cloud, or internal product capabilities
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner certification
  • Foundational cloud certification in at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
