Florida Defensive Training is seeking a motivated and professional Full-Time & Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced training environment serving civilians, private security, and law enforcement personnel.

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative operations, customer communication, scheduling, and fingerprint processing services. This role serves as one of the primary points of contact for students, members, and clients.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound and outbound customer service calls

Respond to SMS messages and emails professionally and promptly

Schedule classes, appointments, and training sessions

Assist customers with registration and general inquiries

Conduct fingerprint services for customers

Maintain customer records and administrative documentation

Coordinate with instructors and management staff

Support daily office operations and front desk activities

Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and online

Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer and administrative skills

Experience with scheduling and office management preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
