Hourly Range: $27.02-$33.83

Position Summary
A Fingerprint Examiner is responsible for analyzing and comparing fingerprintsto identify individuals involved in criminal investigations. They usespecialized equipment and techniques to collect, preserve, and analyzefingerprint evidence. They work closely with law enforcement agencies toprovide accurate and reliable fingerprint identification, assisting in solvingcrimes and providing expert testimony in court proceedings. Additionally, theymay also assist in the development of fingerprint databases and the training ofother forensic professionals.
- Positive identification division is to identify all arrestees accurately andpositively, with fingerprints, and to ensure all arrest information pertains tothe arrestees being processed through the Arrest Processing Center.

- Verification of DNA Blood Samples
- Processing of juvenile fingerprint cards, processing unknown deceasedfingerprints
- Faxing and emailing mugshots
- Assisting public with stolen identity cases

- Provide timely customer service to the entire Criminal Justice System andpublic at large
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience, associate degree or two-year technicalcertificate or a combination of relevant education and relevantexperience. Licenses and Certifications: Science of FingerprintsCertification, SBI AFIS Certification.
