Job description

Carvers on 19, located on the top floor of the Hard Rock Hotel, seeks a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, composure under pressure, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality. 

  • At least one year of experience as a host/hostess in a full-service restaurant. Fine dining experience a plus. 
  • Genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service. 
  • Strong ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues, resolve issues professionally, and convey information clearly and concisely, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Required food safety certification and alcohol service licensing by the appropriate regulatory agency. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds. 
  • Warmly and professionally greet guests, creating a welcoming first impression. 
  • Escort guests efficiently, manage wait times, and ensure optimal table utilization. 
  • Coordinate with waitstaff and culinary team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. 
  • Promptly and courteously address guest inquiries and concerns.
