Blanchard Valley Health System welcomes you to be part of our dedicated team serving patients in Findlay, Ohio. We are seeking two, full-time certified nurse midwives to join our well-established practice, with openings at two outpatient clinic locations adjacent to BV Hospital.
Job Description:
Provide medical care for women in all stages of pregnancy, childbirth and post-delivery
See outpatient clinic OB/GYN patients
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
Counsel and educate patients
Perform diagnostic tests and procedures
Work well within a team, express empathy and understanding with patients
Demonstrated expertise and technical competency in medical care of pregnant women
Solid knowledge of community resources and referrals
Working understanding of the dynamics and intervention techniques related to prenatal situations
Awareness of available substance abuse and diabetic programs, perinatal education
Work autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary team
Flexible hours and regular schedule
Administration and practice support
24-hour in-house pediatric hospitalist service
Level II Special Care Nursery 32 weeks+
