Since they joined forces in 2022, ACA and Prolang have been helping more than 4,000 learners a week across 250 companies leverage second language skills to boost their growth and performance, from Vancouver to Halifax. Joining ACA-Prolang means joining a community of 300 passionate professionals across the country who are dedicated to helping their learners achieve their goals.


Your mission as an ACA-Prolang ESL instructor is to fire up a virtual classroom with interactive and engaging business English courses that enable adults to communicate effectively at work. And to do it all from the comfort of your home! Our instructors teach between 4 to 30 hours per week according to their availability. The starting salary is negotiable and ranges from $19 to $24 dollars CAD for employees.


Our Learning & Development team offers robust onboarding and training programs, cutting-edge in-house training content, and round-the-clock pedagogical support, which allows us to welcome new and seasoned language instructors alike. Candidates should have the following credentials:

  • Experience in teaching English language to adults is an asset;
  • Experience teaching business English is an asset;
  • Certification in TESL/TEFL; Degree in English/ Education/ Languages or other relevant is an asset;
  • Sensitivity and flexibility to adapt to students' specific language needs.

The main responsibilities for teachers include:

  • Designing specialized content with provided material;
  • Delivering the course and relevant assessments;
  • Communicating with coordinator throughout the course - advising of changes or issues;
  • Organizing and maintaining all documentation related to the course.

Les candidats doivent posséder les qualifications suivantes :

  • Expérience dans l'enseignement de l'anglais aux adultes est un atout ;
  • Une expérience de l'enseignement de l'anglais des affaires est un atout ;
  • Certification en ESL/EFL; Diplôme en anglais/ éducation/ langues ou autre ;
  • Sensibilité et flexibilité pour s'adapter aux besoins linguistiques spécifiques des étudiants.

Les principales responsabilités des enseignants sont les suivantes :

  • Concevoir un contenu spécialisé avec le matériel fourni ;
  • Dispenser le cours et les évaluations pertinentes ;
  • Communiquer avec le coordinateur tout au long du cours - l'informer des changements ou des problèmes ;
  • Organiser et maintenir toute la documentation relative au cours.
