Position Overview:
Trinity Academy is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant who shares our Christ-centered worldview to join our administrative team. You'll play a key role in keeping our finances accurate and transparent - supporting the programs, events, and families that make Trinity's mission possible.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and post all journal entries prepared by Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and departmental expense reports
• File monthly sales tax returns accurately and on time
• Create and maintain the annual financial aid tracker, ensuring aid is correctly applied to tuition agreements
• Build and manage online registration and payment forms for camps, classes, productions, athletic training, and other programs
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Provide financial setup and on-site support for fundraising events and fine arts programs
Requirements
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Degree in Accounting preferred; strong relevant experience will be considered
• Alignment with Trinity Academy's mission and statement of faith
