CreditSights is currently seeking a Senior Analyst - Technology based out of our New York or Charlotte office.

About the Team

You'll collaborate with a team of seasoned analysts, delivering critical intelligence that helps clients navigate complex financial markets. How You'll Make an Impact: 

  • Lead research coverage in the Technology sector by conducting fundamental credit analysis of companies in the fintech, software, networking equipment and further expansion. 
  • Publish frequently on a portfolio of credits and market themes.
  • Have a deep understanding of the US and global regulatory frameworks, and the implications of those for investing in the sector.
  • Meet current and prospective clients to discuss and to market CreditSights' research, in conjunction with our sales team.
  • Collaborate with a market-leading Credit Strategy team on sector-level and market themes and views.
  • Interact with colleagues in our London and Singapore offices on research topics to establish common views on the market outlook and sectoral views.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • At least 7 years' experience conducting credit research related to the US Technology or tangential sector. A record of previous publications is preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to write clearly, quickly and prolifically. 
  • A record of extensive issuer and investor interaction.
  • Ability to multi-task, with a strong work ethic.
  • Undergraduate / post graduate degree. CFA designation seen favorably.

FOR NEW YORK ONLY:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $180,00 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, job location and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
