Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst with a strong background in SAP and finance to support a growing portfolio of systems, integrations, and data-driven projects. This role bridges IT and Finance, requiring both technical systems acumen and hands-on accounting or financial operations experience. The role requires comfortability in a hybrid analyst/QA role, able to document requirements, test configurations, and support continuous improvement across financial processes.

This is a hybrid position, reporting in to the office 4 days per week. 

Responsibilities
  • Provides functional support for SAP financial modules, particularly FICO, AP, inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger
  • Conducts manual QA testing in SAP environments, documenting test cases and results using Excel or Word
  • Investigates and resolve production issues; ensure data integrity across financial transactions and reports
  • Collaborates closely with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to gather requirements, test enhancements, and support deployments
  • Manages the creation and lifecycle of purchase orders, vendor contracts, goods receipts, invoice validations, and asset transactions
  • Reconciles financial data and perform root cause analysis of discrepancies (e.g., payment reclassifications, pricing variances)
  • Contributes to automation efforts and testing related to Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting, inventory transfer processes, and EDI vendor onboarding
  • Supports integrations and data validation for new systems including Retail, Payroll, and B2B purchasing platforms

$75,000 - $113,000 Annually (dependent on experience)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Accounting or Information Technology, QA or field) or equivalent experience is required
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a business/systems analyst role, with a strong finance or accounting foundation
  • An understanding of Systems Integration concepts and experience utilizing them
  • 3+ years of manual QA testing experience in SAP QA environments; ability to document test plans and results clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
