Position: Software Developer (Columbus, OH)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our growing team. You will take ownership of technical projects from concept through deployment while working closely with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative, scalable solutions that drive business success. This is a direct‑hire position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of technical products and software solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand underlying business needs and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and improve existing systems, applications, and processes by identifying opportunities for innovation and increased efficiency.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality software applications using modern development practices.
  • Take ownership of projects throughout the full software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture through implementation and maintenance.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and development best practices to continuously improve solutions.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications.
  • Exercise sound technical judgment to solve complex problems and deliver business value.

Qualifications:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Required: Strong programming experience in C#/.NET or another object‑oriented programming language such as Java or Python.
  • Required: Experience working with SQL databases and relational database design.
  • Required: Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms.
  • Required: Strong understanding of software development principles, object‑oriented programming, and application architecture.
  • Required: Ability to manage multiple priorities and own projects from inception through completion.
  • Required: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.

This position is an onsite position based in Columbus, OH, ideally targeting $100k-$140k/base (negotiable based on experience).
