Job description

Software Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a software developer for a hybrid position with a major financial institution located in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Denver, CO, or Dallas, TX. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves the detailed technical design and development of software solutions to address complex business needs. The selected candidate will utilize existing and emerging technology platforms to write, test, and deploy software, as well as prepare necessary technical documentation. This hybrid position requires 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms
  • Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
  • Write, test, and deploy software
  • Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software
  • Maintain and debug software
Requirements:
  • 6 to 8 years of experience
  • Experience with Actimize
  • Cassandra Query Language (CQL)
  • Cloud experience
  • Linux
  • SQL skills (Oracle/Kafka)
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and team ceremonies
  • Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, CA-7, Jira, and U-deploy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
