Software Engineer IV – ERP Finance (Oracle/PLSQL) – Spectrum

Ready to advance Spectrum’s financial systems with your Oracle and PL/SQL expertise? As a Software Engineer IV on the ERP Finance team, you’ll design, enhance and maintain vital financial applications that support business operations and revenue objectives. Your technical skills will ensure Spectrum’s finance systems remain reliable, secure and high performing. Your work will help Spectrum’s Finance organization achieve greater accuracy and efficiency.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design, develop and optimize ERP financial software using Oracle and PL/SQL for system reliability and scalability
  • Integrate financial applications with other Spectrum platforms and data sources
  • Participate in Agile and Scrum processes to meet project goals
  • Apply security standards and ensure compliance with regulations for financial systems
  • Identify and resolve defects and integration issues in ERP applications
  • Lead code reviews, debug and test software, and estimate effort for new features
  • Mentor junior developers and support technical problem solving

Working Conditions

  • Office environment (Hybrid 4:1)

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

  • 2+ years experience with database management systems, including Oracle and PL/SQL
  • 2+ years experience coding, testing and designing software for ERP or financial systems
  • 2+ years experience with software development methodologies

Skills

  • Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL and at least one additional major programming language or tool
  • Understanding of environments, containers, cloud native development, APIs, data stores and software architecture for ERP
  • Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex financial system issues
  • Functional negotiation skills
  • Experience presenting technical work to teams and leadership
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Ability to apply company policies to resolve financial software challenges
  • Skilled at breaking down ERP projects and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Oracle and PL/SQL in database management
  • 4+ years experience coding, testing and designing ERP or financial software
  • 4+ years experience with modern software development methodologies
  • Experience with Java, Spring, API Gateway and cloud native development (AWS preferred)

The base pay for this position generally is between $80,300.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
