Position:             Senior Sales Assistant

Reports to:         Director, Business Development

Location:            In-office, Durham, NC

Classification:    Full-time, Exempt

 

Summary / Job Objective:  We are a growing independent Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm committed to providing exceptional financial planning and investment management services to individuals, families, and business owners. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Sr. Sales Assistant to support a small team of highly experienced senior financial advisors to help deliver an outstanding client experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and exceptional client service are valued. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our team, helping advisors focus on serving clients and growing the business.

 

Essential Job Functions: 

·         Prepare and process new account paperwork, account maintenance requests, and transfer documentation.

·         Coordinate client onboarding from initial paperwork through account funding.

·         Prepare reports, meeting materials, and client documents for advisor meetings.

·         Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests and follow through to completion.

·         Communicate with custodians and third-party providers to resolve account issues efficiently.

·         Monitor outstanding client requests and ensure timely follow-up.

·         Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with firm policies.

Qualifications:

·         2+ years previous experience in wealth management, financial services, banking, or an investment advisory firm preferred.

·         Experience supporting Financial Advisors or working directly with clients is highly desirable.

·         Familiarity with investment custodians such as Fidelity Wealthscape, Schwab Advisor Center/PCRA, TIAA, or similar platforms is preferred.

·         Experience with Orion Advisor Services is strongly preferred.

·         Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform is a plus.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Compensation & Benefits:

·         Base salary / Hourly rate: $65,000 - $77,000; exempt
