Job description

A leading, multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking a highly organized and proactive Research Assistant to support and collaborate with a group of Senior Portfolio Managers. This is a high-impact opportunity to work closely with senior level professionals in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and thrives behind the scenes ensuring seamless execution for a top-tier investment team.

The Opportunity:

• Support investment professionals with day-to-day administrative, operational, and research coordination

• Coordinate heavy domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries

• Oversee corporate access, including management meetings, site visits, conferences, and investor days

• Act as a liaison between Portfolio Managers, analysts, sell-side firms, and corporate management teams

• Organize, maintain, and distribute research materials and data

• Maintain internal databases, CRM systems, and research repositories

• Ensure compliance with internal policies related to corporate access and information handling

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree required; strong academic background preferred

• 3+ years of experience in finance, investment management, consulting, or a similarly rigorous environment

• Strong interest in public equities and financial markets

• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
