Job description

The Supervisory Financial Program Administrator serves as the Director for Corporate Travel and Charge Card Service (CTCCS) within the Financial Services Center (FSC), Office of Management (OM), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing enterprise travel and charge card financial programs.
This position can be located in either Austin, TX or Washington, DC.Qualifications:To qualify you must meet the following Specialized Experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-14 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
  • Administering charge card governance and internal controls; overseeing transaction reconciliations, merchant's category management, misuse detection via data analytics, and salary offsets for delinquent accounts and initiates administrative actions for policy violations.
  • Directing enterprise administration for agency-wide travel contracts.
  • Interpreting and implementing Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), travel policy, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and General Services Administration (GSA) guidance.
  • Providing centralized foreign travel oversight, passport services, and policy interpretation. Ensures end-to-end travel workflow integrity, auditability, and customer service quality.
