Position Overview

The Program Manager – Revol One Plus leads the end-to-end build-out of Revol One Plus, our new voluntary benefits line of business, from inception to launch. This role will help plan and coordinate multiple workstreams including product development, distribution enablement, marketing, legal/compliance, and the technology platform build. Technology will include Verisk FAST platform, a new mobile enrollment/claims application, and related integrations. It's a foundational leadership role for a hands-on program manager who thrives in ambiguity and can translate strategy into a fully operational, cross-functional business launch plan.

Position, launch, and scale solutions that provide employees with financial protection following covered serious illnesses.

Build distribution approaches for income protection solutions that help employees address temporary disability events.

Develop sales, education, and distribution strategies for accident coverage that complements employer benefit offerings.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • New Line of Business Launch & Program Governance

  • Own the end-to-end program plan for standing up Revol One Plus, from initial design through go-live

  • Coordinate across product development, distribution enablement, marketing, legal/compliance, and the technology platform build workstreams to bring the business to market

  • Establish the program management processes, tools, and governance needed to stand up a new business from scratch, including risk management, issue resolution, and project tracking

  • Product Development & Filing

  • Partner with product and actuarial teams to define the Revol One Plus product portfolio, pricing, and plan designs

  • Track and coordinate the state filing and regulatory approval timeline in partnership with Product and Legal/Compliance, who own the approval outcome, escalating risks to on-schedule market-readiness

  • Distribution Enablement

  • Work with sales and distribution leadership to stand up broker/agent onboarding, enrollment processes, and channel readiness

  • Track distribution readiness (tools, training, materials) against the launch timeline, partnering with and escalating gaps to Distribution leadership, who own sales-channel readiness

  • Marketing & Go-to Market

  • Coordinate with marketing to develop the go-to-market plan for Revol One Plus, including brand positioning and launch communications

  • Platform & Vendor Delivery

  • Coordinate delivery across key technology partners, including Verisk (FAST voluntary benefits platform) and our mobile app development partner

  • Track schedules, resources, budgets, and risks across these workstreams, partnering with Technology leadership, who own deliver, and escalating issues that threaten the launch timeline

  • Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the amin point of contact across the REvol One Plus build, coordinating with the accountable executives for Product, Distribution, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Technology to track launch requirements, dependencies, and status.

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and provide regular status updates to executives and vendor partners, escalating risks or misalignment between workstreams ad needed

  • Foster a collaborative, fast-moving startup work environment

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex programs spanning both business and technology workstreams, ideally in an Agile environment

  • Experience launching a new insurance product or line of business from the ground up spanning product development/filing, sales enablement, marketing, and legal/compliance in addition to technology

  • Working knowledge of insurance product filing and regulatory approval processes, distribution/broker enablement, and compliance requirements for new insurance products

  • Experience with cloud-based systems and policy administration or benefits administration platforms (e.g., Verisk FAST or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools such as Hira, MS Project, or similar

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively across multiple concurrent vendor and internal workstreams

  • Solid understanding of software developement processes, IT infrastructure, and systems integration, including mobile application delivery, plus familiarity with modern development methodologies (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD) and managing outsourced or third-party development teams

  • Builder mentality—thrives in ambiguity and can create structure from scratch

  • Strong execution discipline with a bias for action

  • Excellent cross-functional influence and partnership with executives accountable for Product, Distribution, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Technology, without direct authority over those teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience in voluntary benefits, Insurtech, or financial technology

  • Experience working with group/voluntary benefits carriers or third-party administrators (TPAs)

  • Experience with digital enrollment platforms or mobile-first InsurTech products
