THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, the Financial Analyst II will support the digital business by providing financial guidance and actionable insights to drive data-backed decisions. This role supports core forecasting and budgeting workstreams, leads cross-functional collaboration, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve performance and efficiency. Under direct supervision, this role also assists in the preparation in providing reports and analysis for the planning and forecasting process.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
Close/Forecast/Budget Management:
  • Partner with Accounting and cross-functional business leaders to manage the close process, ensuring accuracy and clarity in variance analysis between forecasted and actual results.
  • Support the development of financial forecasts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and business partners. Evaluate key drivers, risks, and opportunities to deliver accurate, insightful projections that inform strategic decisions.
Financial Reporting:
  • Own and evolve key reporting processes and reporting to deliver timely, relevant, and actionable insight on Key Performance Indicators to predict future performance and trends.
Financial Business Support:
  • Developing and communicating recommendations to business leaders to drive profitability.
  • Support various strategic initiatives by analyzing profitability and financial hurdles throughout the business.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve reporting efficiency, and enhance modeling tools.
Ad hoc Analysis:
  • Support ad hoc analyses and business case development for investment decisions
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance/Statistics/Math)
  • 2-4 yrs. relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Highly analytical with strong technical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Background in compiling data, creating queries, and replicable reports. Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver analysis and creative solutions.
  • Prior budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multitask
  • Extremely strong skill set in Excel.
  • PowerPoint experience with the ability to present financial data to internal business partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Finance in the retail industry is a plus.
  • This role requires six (6) days per month in the Bolingbrook, IL office.

The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 - $86,500.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
