Estate Planning Associate Attorney | NJ Licensed | Roseland, NJ

That conversation requires trust. It requires someone who knows the law and understands people.

A law firm in Roseland, New Jersey is looking for an Estate Planning Associate who wants to do that work at a high level and grow into the kind of attorney clients remember for the rest of their lives.

What you will be doing:

  • Counseling clients on tax planning, estate planning and trust and estate administration
  • Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and estate planning documents
  • Advising on estate and gift tax strategies that protect generational wealth
  • Managing probate and trust administration including tax filings and financial reporting
  • Collaborating with financial planners and accountants to serve clients at the highest level

What you need to bring:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Two or more years of estate planning and tax law experience inside a law firm
  • Active New Jersey law license required
  • New York law license preferred
  • LLM is a plus but not required

This is an associate role inside a firm. If you have been in solo practice for an extended period this role is not the right fit. The firm is looking for someone who has grown inside a team and is ready to keep growing.
