Job description

What You Can Expect In This Role
Maintain the daily accuracy and integrity of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) through reconciliations, data validation and maintenance, reporting, and operational support across a diverse investment portfolio including public and private asset classes. Apply established investment operations practices to resolve data discrepancies, support structured and complex instruments, and ensure timely and accurate downstream reporting. Work independently within defined processes while escalating higher-risk or ambiguous issues appropriately and contributing to ongoing process improvements.
What You'll Do In This Role
• Perform daily and periodic validation of positions, transactions, pricing, and security data within the IBOR to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Execute IBOR to ABOR reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies using established procedures; escalate complex or systemic issues as appropriate.
• Build, maintain, and update securities and transactions across public and private asset classes, ensuring accurate setup and documentation.
• Conduct reasonableness reviews of valuation movements, cash flows, corporate actions, and investment activity.
• Monitor and resolve investment data exceptions impacting performance measurement, and operational processes.
• Support structured products and private investments through use of Intex and other vendor systems to validate cash flows and investment data inputs.
• Assist in testing and validation activities related to system enhancements, new investment products, and IBOR platform updates.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements to workflows and controls.
• Maintain process documentation and support internal control requirements related to IBOR data integrity.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field Required
  • 2-4 years' of relevant investment operations, IBOR support, or investment data management experience Preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple asset classes, including fixed income, structured products, and private or alternative investments Preferred
  • Experience with Power Query, Power BI, SQL, or similar data tools Preferred
  • Working knowledge of investment products and operational workflows across multiple asset classes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes within defined processes
  • Ability to independently manage recurring operational responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills to partner with accounting, investment, and operations stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a production-oriented environment

Salary Range Information
USD $77,019.99 - USD $128,365.00 /Yr.
Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
