Summary of the Role:ย The Data Operations Associate is a key member of Wealthspireโ€™s Data Operations team, partnering closely with Client Operations and Client Service teams to support the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of client and portfolio data. This role requires strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage multiple operational priorities while ensuring high-quality data across systems and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Tamarac Advisor Servicesย 
  • Maintain account sets, searches, views, templates, reports, and dashboards within portfolio management systemsย 
  • Populate and maintain account and client data fields for new and existing relationshipsย 
  • Validate the accuracy of client performance data and capital flowsย 
  • Verify security, portfolio, transaction, and pricing data received from custodians and other external sourcesย 
  • Assist with account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepanciesย 
  • Support ongoing database maintenance and ensure data integrity across systemsย 
  • Maintain database backup files and support data governance best practicesย 
  • Assist with Tamarac rebalancing, including:
    • Maintaining models and target allocations
    • Creating rebalancing groups and configuring accounts for trading
    • Managing account-level templates and settings
  • Support daily activity reporting and operational workflowsย 
  • Price non-standard assets and reconcile asset valuationsย 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve data accuracy and efficiencyย 
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the Data Operations team

Education & Experience:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree requiredย 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, operations, data management, or a related fieldย 

Skills & Competencies:ย 

  • Strong numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detailย 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentย 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย 
  • Professional demeanor with a collaborative, team-oriented approachย 

Relevant Knowledge & Experience (Preferred):ย 

  • Experience with Tamarac or similar portfolio accounting/reporting systemsย 
  • Understanding of portfolio accounting, reconciliations, and performance reportingย 
  • Familiarity with custodial data feeds and investment operations processesย

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 โ€“$75,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.ย
