Position Summary

The Investment Operations Assistant provides administrative and client service support to the FDL Advisor and clients. Responsible for investment related account requests, including account set up and maintenance and support for all accounts managed by the FDL Advisor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client service requests and inquiries.
  • Assist with opening, maintaining, and servicing investment accounts.
  • Prepare client correspondence, reports, presentations, and account documentation.
  • Coordinate account transfers, deposits, withdrawals, distributions, and other client transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM and portfolio management systems.
  • Schedule client meetings and assist investment professionals with meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Monitor outstanding client requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with account paperwork, compliance documentation, and required client forms.
  • Work closely with custodians, investment managers, financial advisors, and other service providers.
  • Handle sensitive client information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Support portfolio reporting and other administrative processes as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Series 6 registration and Insurance Life and Health license preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the investment industry
  • Advanced computer skills including a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe and Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with CRM systems or Data Base software
  • Excellent interpersonal and business etiquette skills
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through on projects and activities.
  • Ability to work autonomously, while meeting deadlines


Compensation Benefits:

Competitive hourly pay: $32.00 to $37.00 depending on experience. Opportunity for bonus
