Job description

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will play a critical role in supporting Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) Operations, Supply Chain, and plant leadership teams through financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role will drive visibility into financial performance, support data-driven decision-making, and help standardize processes across multiple ERP systems as CAM continues its One CAM transformation. During month end, this role will support our four day financial close process by pulling system ERP and subledger data to create and book operations and manufacturing related journal entries

This individual will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Leaders to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and improve cost structure, productivity, and working capital outcomes. The role will also be a key contributor to CAM's annual planning process, ensuring alignment between financial targets and operational execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and long-range planning for Operations and Supply Chain functions
  • Play a key role in the annual planning process for CAM, partnering with finance and business leaders to build, consolidate, and validate budgets across plants and functions
  • Analyze plant-level financial performance including labor, overhead, and productivity metrics
  • Provide variance analysis vs. AOP, forecast, and prior year with actionable insights
  • Partner with plant leaders to translate financial results into operational actions

Operational & Supply Chain Support

  • Serve as a finance business partner to plant managers, operations leaders, and supply chain teams
  • Partner with plant managers to understand financial performance, understand drivers of performance, and highlight actions for continuous improvements that drives improved results
  • Analyze key drivers including labor efficiency, throughput, inventory, freight, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Validate cost savings opportunities at ideation and post implementation, with project managers, to differentiate between opportunity cost savings and hard cost savings that impact our P&L
  • Support initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize working capital
  • Assist in evaluating capital investments, ROI, and continuous improvement initiatives

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide real-time insights into operational and financial performance
  • Standardize reporting across CAM's multiple business units, plants, and ERP systems
  • Deliver clear, concise reporting for leadership to support decision-making and accountability
  • Create visibility into spend, budget adherence, and key performance indicators

Accounting & Financial Close

  • Leverage system data tables from four different ERPS, Power BI, and subledgers to generate schedules required to book month end transactions
  • Prepare and book operations related journal entries - labor, inventory, scrap, absorption, variance capitalization, etc.
  • Assist in our compliance process and complete monthly reconciliations and journal entry reviews.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Leverage SAP and other ERP systems to extract, analyze, and validate financial and operational data
  • Support integration and alignment of financial processes across legacy CAM and MTL businesses
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, reporting accuracy, and data consistency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 4-7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or operations finance
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems required
  • Advanced experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tools) required
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, modeling, data analysis)

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business acumen with ability to connect financial results to operational drivers
  • Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional leaders
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on accuracy, insights, and actionability
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, transformational environment with multiple priorities
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

Why This Role Matters at CAM:

This role is critical to enabling CAM's One CAM transformation by improving financial visibility, driving operational discipline, and supporting scalable growth. The Senior Financial Analyst will help bridge finance and operations, ensuring leaders have the insights needed to make informed decisions and deliver on AOP commitments.

Working Conditions:

This position is full time during regular business hours typically, may be performed remotely from home or at a plant office location. Some travel may be required for engagements or industry events, up to 20% of the time.
