Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Controller to lead all controllership and financial management activities for a global automated systems business serving multiple industrial sectors. This is a newly created leadership role with full ownership of financial operations across U.S. and European entities.Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this position will act as the financial steward for the business, overseeing end-to-end controllership, driving process improvements, and partnering cross-functionally to support growth and profitability.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in controllership, project and cost accounting, month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting within a complex, multi-entity environment. Finance Manager / Controller
Salary Range: $150,000-$160,000 base + bonus eligibility Location: Chalftont, PA (Hybrid / Onsite; travel required)
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations across U.S. and European locations
  • Own all phases of the monthly close process, including general ledger, consolidations, foreign currency translation, and management reporting
  • Prepare, consolidate, and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and supporting financial schedules
  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and business leaders to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and identify profit improvement opportunities
  • Support growth initiatives and cost optimization programs
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls, revenue recognition standards, and internal policies
  • Serve as a key liaison for audits and statutory reporting requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2-4 accounting professionals
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Prior experience in a Controller or Finance Manager role preferred
  • Strong background in controllership, month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting
  • Experience with SOX controls in a public company or CPA firm environment
  • Solid knowledge of ASC revenue recognition and cost accounting principles
  • Exposure to audits, forecasting, statutory reporting, and ERP systems
  • Manufacturing and project-based accounting experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, OneStream)
