Job description

Financial firm is looking for a Facilities Lead to join their team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role as they scale. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day facilities and workspace operations, vendor management and relationships, and office maintenance and repairs. You'll also act as a point of contact and work cross-functionally to support other projects and initiatives. Someone execution-focused, takes ownership, and builds systems that are scalable and efficient. This is a hybrid role (Monday-Thurs) based in New York.
Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing daily office, facilities, and workplace operations.
  • Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance or repairs to ensure the office is running efficiently.
  • Manage relationships with building management and all facilities vendors. Implement processes to document and assess vendors.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders and teams to maintain the workspace.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to the workspace and facilities, and assist with the strategy and planning process.
  • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and other related stakeholders during workplace initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in Workplace Operations or Facilities, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Systems-oriented and strong process builder.
  • Forward thinker who can anticipate needs and issues before they arise.
  • Works well independently and takes ownership with a strong ability to prioritize and make sound judgments.
  • Effective communicator and problem solver who collaborates well across operations, IT, security, finance, construction, and external partners.
  • Resourceful problem-solver.
