  • Serve as the initial and ongoing point of contact for projects requiring technical resources.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct infrastructure/software development activities in accordance with the PMO Project Delivery Process (SDLC).
  • Create and manage department/area budgets, ensuring adherence to financial processes and deadlines.
  • Ensure the safety, soundness, and compliance of developed products with internal policies and regulations.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and provide expert insights on engineering standards.
  • Evaluate outcomes, identify problems, and recommend corrective actions to maintain organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee full-cycle team management, including hiring, performance management, and staff development.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience within engineering disciplines or a directly related field, with professional experience in at least one primary language, framework, or infrastructure domain.
  • Supervisory or management experience required, featuring a proven track record of building and scaling a strong engineering culture.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with the business and successfully executing a defined strategic plan.
  • Proven hands-on experience and ability to utilize Automation and AI to improve engineering processes and build innovative solutions.
  • Experience in the banking sector, particularly in Treasury or payments, is a strong plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering, including architectural concepts and system design.
  • Strong understanding across the DevOps lifecycle, with expertise in at least one area, including exposure to automation through CI/CD pipelines.
  • In depth project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize effectively, and execute tasks under pressure.
