Work You'll Do

As a Project Senior Consultant, Financial Data Support you will: 

  • Supporting financial operations for sensitive programs within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment
  • Managing data extracts used to track funding, commitments, obligations, expenditures, and execution metrics
  • Executing procure-to-pay activities, including purchase requests, obligation loading, and payment analysis
  • Producing reports and analyses aligned to Office of Secretary of War (OSW) goals, targets, and program execution needs
  • Providing process guidance, financial solutions, and reconciliation support to program offices and other business users

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access with polygraph
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles
  • 5+ years of experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in finance and accounting operations
  • 5+ years of experience with financial processes, regulations, and audit requirements in the defense space including: procure-to-pay processes, including purchase requests, obligations, and payment analysis
  • Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, up to 3 days per week
Preferred:

  • Experience supporting sensitive programs in a finance or accounting environment
  • Experience managing data extracts for funding, commitments, obligations, and expenditures
  • Experience analyzing execution metrics against defense goals and targets
  • Experience monitoring financial execution and budgetary data
  • Experience supporting planning, programming, execution, and reconciliation activities
  • Experience providing business process recommendations to finance and accounting users
