Summary of the Role: The Data Operations Associate is a key member of Wealthspire’s Data Operations team, partnering closely with Client Operations and Client Service teams to support the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of client and portfolio data. This role requires strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage multiple operational priorities while ensuring high-quality data across systems and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Tamarac Advisor Services 
  • Maintain account sets, searches, views, templates, reports, and dashboards within portfolio management systems 
  • Populate and maintain account and client data fields for new and existing relationships 
  • Validate the accuracy of client performance data and capital flows 
  • Verify security, portfolio, transaction, and pricing data received from custodians and other external sources 
  • Assist with account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies 
  • Support ongoing database maintenance and ensure data integrity across systems 
  • Maintain database backup files and support data governance best practices 
  • Assist with Tamarac rebalancing, including:
    • Maintaining models and target allocations
    • Creating rebalancing groups and configuring accounts for trading
    • Managing account-level templates and settings
  • Support daily activity reporting and operational workflows 
  • Price non-standard assets and reconcile asset valuations 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve data accuracy and efficiency 
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the Data Operations team

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, operations, data management, or a related field 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Professional demeanor with a collaborative, team-oriented approach 

Relevant Knowledge & Experience (Preferred): 

  • Experience with Tamarac or similar portfolio accounting/reporting systems 
  • Understanding of portfolio accounting, reconciliations, and performance reporting 
  • Familiarity with custodial data feeds and investment operations processes

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 –$75,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
