Position Summary:
The Reporting amp; Integrations Engineer position sits at the intersection of data analysis, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) automation, and emerging AI capabilities with a focus on supporting the firm’s capabilities advancement in data visualization and analysis capabilities.
This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions across enterprise systems. As part of the firm’s Product team, this role plays a key role in enabling automation, improving data accessibility, and supporting business intelligence through scalable solutions.

Major Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Perform statistical analysis and generate reports to identify trends, patterns, and key insights that inform business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs with a focus on optimizing statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Build and manage API/REST integrations between internal enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing, transformation, and automation.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug automation workflows and data processes to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain version-controlled code (Git) for scripts, pipelines, and integration solutions.
  • Automate recurring tasks using scheduling and/or orchestration tools, like Windows Task Scheduler.
  • Maintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices.
  • Create clear, actionable visualizations and dashboards for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data consistency for accurate reporting.
  • Monitor data quality, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to data collection processes or reporting methods to enhance decision-making accuracy.
  • Ensures that database projects are completed on time and within estimated costs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., practice groups, Finance, Human Resources, IT) to understand business needs, deliver actionable insights, and integration requirements.
  • Document system dependencies, workflows, and integrations for maintenance and knowledge sharing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python or other coding languages for scripting, automation, and/or data manipulation.
  • Strong skills in SQL for querying, extracting, and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Curiosity about data and a passion for finding answers hidden in data sets.
  • Analytical, diligent, and rigorous in your approach to problems.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Ability to interpret data in a business context, providing actionable insights and solving complex analytical problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple high-level assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of legal industry processes is a plus, though not required.
Education amp; Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Intelligence or Analytics, other related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms for data visualization and reporting.
  • Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder not required, but beneficial.
  • Experience with AI integrations, SharePoint environments and integrations, SFTP workflows, and Azure or other similar cloud platform preferred.
  • Experience in statistical modeling, advanced data analysis, and complex data visualization.
  • Optional: A Master’s Degree in a more specialized area, such as Applied Analytics or Data Science.
