Director of Finance

What you will do as a Finance Director :

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for the manufacturing site.
  • The Director of Finance will partner with plant leadership to drive financial performance and operational decision-making.
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and financial support for major manufacturing investments.
  • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, including cost accounting and financial analysis functions.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, controls, and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Oversee the month close process and review activities of the Assistant Controller

What we are seeking in a Director of Finance Candidate:

  • 10+ years of finance experience within a large manufacturing environment with cost knowledge and a min of 5 years leadership experience in accounting or finance capacity.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing finance or accounting teams.
  • Previous experience overseeing plant finance, controllership, or director-level manufacturing finance functions.
  • Strong ERP expertise with either (SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems)
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Former accounting experience within a regulated industry such as Consumer-packaged goods, Medical, Medical Device, Aerospace, Chemical or Cosmetics.
