  • Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support organizational objectives.
  • Manage and develop the accounting team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing utilization of accounting and financial systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven experience overseeing financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, payroll, and internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting best practices.
  • Experience leading audits and partnering with executive leadership on financial planning and business decisions.
  • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems; experience with aviation industry software such as Total FBO is highly preferred. Experience leading accounting system implementations, upgrades, or conversions is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to leverage financial data for reporting and analysis.
