Job description


If you want to utilize your client service and financial planning experience and advance your career in wealth management, Coldstream Wealth Management could have the perfect next step for you.
We're adding an experienced Wealth Management Associate to one of our growing Bellevue teams. This position has the opportunity for career advancement within client service/team operations and/or towards becoming a Wealth Manager (advisor).
We have a hybrid work environment, with team members working in our Bellevue office two to three days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday with potential for Thursdays, 7:00-4:00) and then able to work remotely the other days if they choose.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Client Service Excellence: Going above and beyond to anticipate client needs, address concerns, and resolve issues quickly
    • Serving as a primary point of contact with clients
    • Partnering with custodians/investment managers
    • Overseeing the gathering of client information and managing data integrity
    • Processing client-directed money movements and other account-related transactions

  • Client Onboarding: Overseeing and coordinating the new client onboarding process

  • Client Meetings: Participating in client meetings and presenting clients with ideas and concepts in an organized and effective manner
    • Preparing meeting summaries and comprehensive meeting materials
    • Creating and managing post-meeting action items

  • Wealth Planning: Assist the team's Wealth Managers in producing financial plans

  • Mentorship and Collaboration
    • Delegating and overseeing tasks assigned to Client Service Associates (CSAs)
    • Providing guidance and mentorship to new client-facing team members, contributing to their professional growth

Experience and Skills
We are looking for a candidate who has:
  • 2+ years of client service experience within the wealth management industry (preferably at an RIA).

  • Series 65 license and FPQP® or completion of the first CFP® module (or willingness to obtain within 12 months at Coldstream's expense).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Salesforce CRM, eMoney, and/or Tamarac is preferred.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with consistent attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

  • A Bachelor's degree
