Job Summary

Title:                Financial AnalystReports To:     Financial Planning & Analysis Director

Under the direction of the FP&A Director, the Financial Analyst will manage and drive improvement in financial reporting, planning and analysis.

External Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of long-range plans, annual plans and quarterly forecasts
  • Perform weekly cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Prepare financial reports comparing actual results against budgets and prior year results
  • Serve as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planning
  • Develop KPI's and monitor progress against a reporting dashboard
  • Ad Hoc projects involving analysis and reporting
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.   • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years of business experience with significant forecasting, planning and analysis experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with other parts of the business
  • Strong business acumen and judgment
  • Ability to effectively simplify and communicate financial issues with associates and vendors outside of Finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; expertise in MS Excel
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
