Job description

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) specializes in the development and commercialization of sustainable sourcing solutions for critical battery materials, focusing on lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies. Our mission is to support the growing needs of electric vehicles, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics by providing innovative and environmentally responsible battery materials.

We are currently seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for assisting in the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes of the company. You will help gather and analyze financial data, prepare financial models, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in finance within a fast-paced and innovative environment. Requirements

    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting activities.
    • Prepare and update financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting through data collection and model updates.
    • Perform research and basic analysis to support decision-making.
    • Reconcile financial data and ensure accuracy across systems.
    • Build and maintain Excel and BI models and assist in driving automation initiatives.
    • Assist in preparing presentations for leadership.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data.
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance.
    • Support ad-hoc analysis and projects.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
