Financial Assistant I

AttainX is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Assistant I to support daily financial operations and reporting activities. This entry-level role is responsible for collecting and maintaining financial data, assisting with preparation of financial reports and dashboards, and supporting compliance with organizational and regulatory financial policies and controls.

The ideal candidate is analytical, dependable, and eager to develop foundational financial and business operations knowledge while supporting a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of general accounting experience.
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and business operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Must have analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and maintain financial and operational data for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports, summaries, and performance metrics.
  • Update and maintain financial dashboards and tracking tools used for management reporting and decision-making.
  • Review financial information for completeness and accuracy and escalate discrepancies as appropriate.
  • Support financial operations activities, including documentation, record maintenance, and transaction tracking.
  • Ensure financial reporting and operational activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist with audits, reconciliations, and other financial support activities as assigned.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather data and support financial analysis requests.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical financial files and records.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
