The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Setting the Stage

The Application Analyst I is responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of custom software applications, reports, dashboards, data extracts, and other technology solutions that meet organizational and customer needs.

In this role, you will work with application and reporting technologies to design, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain solutions while helping identify and address potential security concerns. The Application Analyst I also provides end-user support, contributes to project activities, and collaborates with team members on Epic-related initiatives.

As an Application Analyst I, a Typical Day May Include
  • Developing reports, dashboards, data extracts, custom metrics, and software solutions to meet customer and business needs.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining custom software applications and reporting solutions.
  • Creating and implementing source code for new applications and enhancements.
  • Testing source code, identifying programming errors, and debugging code.
  • Troubleshooting application, reporting, and database-related issues.
  • Supporting the ongoing maintenance and performance of applications.
  • Identifying and helping address potential application security concerns.
  • Working with Epic Cogito tools and reporting applications to support dashboards, metrics, reports, and data extracts.
  • Collaborating with team members on Epic upgrade-related activities and assignments.
  • Providing technical and application support to customers and end users.
  • Assisting with project management activities and helping ensure assigned deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Working collaboratively with technical and business teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current programming languages, development technologies, database systems, and reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of programming and development technologies such as SQL, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, and/or Python.
  • Working knowledge of database systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and troubleshoot programming errors.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently and efficiently.
