Job description

Job Overview:

The Business Analytics & Operations Intern will support the Aftermarket team by analyzing sales performance,

inventory management processes, customer demand patterns, and SAP business processes. This role offers

hands-on experience in business analytics, operational finance, supply chain analysis, and enterprise systems

while contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at improving sales growth, inventory efficiency, and

operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze aftermarket sales trends, customer purchasing patterns, and product performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop sales dashboards and performance reports to track revenue, order intake, and customer activity.
  • Conduct market and customer analysis to identify gaps in product offerings and opportunities to increase aftermarket sales.
  • Support the sales team with data-driven insights for customer engagement and business development activities.
  • Analyze inventory levels, stock movements, and product usage trends to improve inventory availability and turnover.
  • Review reorder points, safety stock levels, and inventory planning parameters to optimize inventory investment.
  • Identify slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in inventory reconciliation and inventory accuracy improvement initiatives.
  • Generate inventory performance metrics and reports for management review.
  • Support cross-functional projects involving Sales, Operations, Inventory Control, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Develop expertise in SAP modules supporting sales, inventory, procurement, and warehouse operations.
  • Create reports and dashboards utilizing SAP data to support operational and financial decision-making.
