Job description

Job Summary:
SumBridge is hiring an experienced Financial Analyst for one of our favorite manufacturing clients. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers hybrid schedule flexibility, and is located on the Eastside. The Financial Analyst is responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data to provide comprehensive financial results and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance. The Financial Analyst will also assemble and summarize data to produce sophisticated reports that inform financial results, displays adherence to financial metrics, and identifies and summarizes potential risks.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial analysis to evaluate and influence gross margin by product line in support of strategic goals and initiatives
  • Report and analyze bookings and sales data, including actuals, comparison to budget, and historical trends
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process for indirect functions, including research and development, bid and proposal, sales, and general administration
  • Support the marketing group with cost buildups to substantiate proposal pricing
  • Participate in and support the month-end financial close
  • Assist with monthly management financial presentations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and two years related experience; or five years related finance experience.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Aerospace industry and government contract cost accounting a plus.
  • Hands on financial analysis experience including cost analysis, variance analysis, financial planning and cost vs actual budgeting and forecasting experience.
