Join our FP&A team supporting Transportation Technology and Services as a Finance Manager where you'll lead end-to-end budgeting and reporting processes for headcount and Opex across the organization. This role offers high executive visibility with opportunities to present the short and long term plans and recommendations that directly impact business decisions.
In this position, you'll leverage your expertise in financial modeling to develop comprehensive short and long-term budgets, simplify complex financial data, and provide strategic guidance to leadership. You'll collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups to align financial planning with organizational goals while maintaining strong financial controllership. Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end short and long-term budgeting processes for headcount and operational expenditures, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial targets.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and finance FP&A teams to analyze complex financial data, identify opportunities for optimization, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Create and maintain sophisticated financial models that simulate different scenarios, providing leadership with clear understanding of financial implications and supporting data-driven planning processes.
- Develop and deliver executive-level financial presentations and reports, communicating complex financial information in a clear, concise manner that enables informed decision-making.
- Design and implement financial guidance, instructions, and best practices for the organization, promoting strong financial controllership while simplifying reporting mechanisms and eliminating unnecessary processes.
A day in the life
You'll spend time collaborating with stakeholders from Transportation Technology and Services to understand their financial needs and provide guidance. Throughout the day, you'll participate in meetings with FP&A partners to align on reporting standards and simplify financial processes. You might work on expanding the budget model to accommodate new business initiatives, create instructional documentation for team members, or prepare an executive presentation highlighting key financial insights and recommendations for upcoming planning cycles.

We are the FP&A team supporting the Transportation Technology and Services organizations. Our team owns central reporting, planning and goals for the organization, including operational expenditures, technology entitlements, and headcount planning. We serve as strategic financial partners, providing data-driven insights that guide decision-making across all levels of the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CMA or CPA
- 5+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- 4+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
