Temporary Surveillance Analyst – Control Room

As a Temporary Surveillance Analyst in the Control Room you will be part of a global team tasked with Level 1 review of electronic communications. A person in this role will be responsible for identifying and escalating potential compliance issues arising out of review of electronic communications via the Ratings supervision platform.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review electronic communications flagged by our electronic surveillance system and validate that a further review is warranted.
  • Analyze content of electronic communications and escalate to the next level of review along with supporting factors.
  • Report on issues identified within the electronic surveillance system during the review process.

Functional & Business Knowledge

  • Good working knowledge of credit markets and the role of rating agencies in the capital formation process.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to details.
  • Good understanding of the US and the EU financial regulation framework.
  • Good communicator with the ability to support his or her decisions.
  • Interest in global work and able to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • A self-starter with good judgment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • 6+ months of professional experience in Financial Services Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit, or Operational Risk Management functions.
  • Ability to read in at least one of the following languages is a strong plus (French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Portuguese or Hebrew)
