Essential Duties & Functions:
The PPN Project Manager is responsible for the management of the following provider onboarding activities as well as any other related practice onboarding projects that may arise from time to time
• Provider On/Off-boarding (Physician and APPs)
• Practice Acquisitions
• Practice Closures
• Practice and/or Provider Relocations
• Practice Name Changes
• Opening of Satellite office
• Malpractice Application
• Kyrus Provider Search & Scheduling
• Maintenance of Furniture/Equipment in Storage
• Practice Manager Partnership
Project Management:
• Implementation and coordination of processes to complete project assignments utilizing the concepts of project management and change management.
• In collaboration with the appropriate Operations Director/Manager, Medical Staff, Payor Credentialing, HR, Information Technology and all other invested departments, coordinates the transition of new providers and/or practices into the network.
• Provides coordination for transition meeting including preparation and facilitation, documentation of decisions, up-to-date documentation of task completion, ongoing communication with team members to facilitate completion of assignments.
• Timely, effectively and professionally communicates the progress of each project with the appropriate Operations Director/Manager and Physician Contracting Director.
• Provides leadership, guidance and direction to new managers, providers, and staff in transitioning offices.
• Other projects as assigned.
Customer Service:
• The ability to communicate timely, effectively and directly to the appropriate stakeholder's information regarding the progress of various projects.
• Outstanding customer service skills with sensitivity to the special needs of new providers, staff and operational management.
• Ability to independently build and develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers involved in the onboarding of providers.
• Serve as an expert resource in all project management provider transitions until such time of completion and hand-off to Operations.
• In collaboration with the Physician Contracting Director, will demonstrate the ability to communicate the customer service goals of the organization to all customers.
Operations:
• Participates in meetings and committees on the corporate level as is appropriate to the project involvement at the time. May be asked to report out results and information as needed.
• Projects may require site visits to the respective offices and/or storage facilities during which the position may be asked to report information to the office manager, physicians and/or staff as it relates to that project.
Finance:
• Project Manager will have a general understanding of financial concepts when completing project work and provider onboarding.
Quality:
• Ability to communicate the quality goals of the organization to all the customers of this position.
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and remain flexible to support timely and efficient completion of assigned projects.
• Strong motivation to work independently, with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
