Financial Analyst Python Commission Jobs in Toronto, ON

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commission Analyst to support the calculation, validation, and administration of commission payments for a large group of insurance sales professionals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex compensation structures, large data sets, high-volume calculations, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and validate commissions across multiple compensation plans.
• Ensure commission payouts are accurate, timely, and aligned with internal policies.
• Prepare commission adjustments, corrections, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with Finance, Payroll, Sales, and IT teams to resolve commission-related questions or discrepancies.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, errors, or inconsistencies.
• Support commission process improvements, automation, testing, and system transitions.
• Assist with documenting commission rules, calculation logic, and workflow processes.
• Maintain proper audit trails, reporting, and internal controls related to commission calculations.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience managing commission calculations.
• Experience working with Payroll teams to determine commission payouts.      
• Strong Excel skills, including experience working with large data sets of 1,000+ rows.
• Proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
