Job Title: Sr Financial Analyst
Location: Lakewood, CO
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,200.00 - $94,000.00
Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remote
Responsibilities
  • Support enterprise-level financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis in a global, matrixed medical device environment.
  • Partner closely with FP&A Manager, Corporate FP&A leadership, and functional stakeholders including R&D, IT, Quality, and Regulatory to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Assist with expense and headcount planning, project and portfolio financial analysis, and support for capital investments, systems initiatives, and regulatory programs.
  • Contribute to financial analysis related to new product development, sustaining engineering, digital and IT initiatives, and compliance activities.
  • Help functional leaders understand financial impacts, trade-offs, and risks, escalating issues as needed.
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecast cycles, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning.
  • Collaborate across functions and geographies to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and resolve issues.
  • Consolidate and analyze submissions; highlight variances, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare consolidated planning outputs and management communication materials.
  • Translate financial analysis into reports, dashboards, and tools supporting management decisions.
  • Contribute to ongoing FP&A process enhancements, models, and reporting standards.
  • Utilize ERP, planning, and business intelligence tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, system improvements, and ad-hoc analytical projects.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis supporting forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
  • Analyze financial performance against plans, forecasts, and prior periods; identify trends, risks, and drivers.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Create analysis and presentation materials for leadership, clearly communicating key insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and planning in complex organizations.
  • Exposure to partnering with technical and regulated functions (e.g., R&D, IT, Quality, Regulatory) preferred.
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong foundation in financial analysis, accounting concepts, and cost management.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and develop clear conclusions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, OneStream).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles including capitalization.
  • Public AI tool competency.
