The Inventory Control Auditorย is responsible forย managing andย maintainingย accurateย inventory levels across the Kansas City location. This role conducts regular cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and ensures efficient material flow to support production operations. The position requires strong analytical skills,ย proficiencyย with inventory systems, and the ability to collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams. Safe operation of powered industrial equipment isย requiredย for accessing inventory at elevated heights.ย 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm
Highlights of your role
  • Monitor andย maintainย inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production.ย 
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy.ย 
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.ย 
  • Ability to safely use a Motorized Industrial Man Up Picker to count parts in top levels of warehouse (heights could beย in excess ofย 15+ feet)ย 
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to manage inventory movements.ย 
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports toย identifyย trends and areas for improvement.ย 
  • Promote a culture of safety and integrity by reporting hazards and participating in training initiatives.ย 
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • High School diploma or GEDย required.ย 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.ย 
  • Proficiencyย with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.ย 
  • Ability to safelyย operateย powered industrial equipment and obtain necessary certifications (forklift, aerial lift).ย 
  • Comfortable working at heights (15+ feet) andย lifting upย to 30 lbs.ย 
  • Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across departments.ย
