Job description

Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage SCM master data, planning parameters, and standard information to optimize the supply chain and maximize business efficiency.

  • Operate a competitive production hub by optimizing the global supply chain across manufacturing, logistics, and sales subsidiaries to maximize operational efficiency and business profitability (P&L).

  • Identify critical demand and supply issues and take timely corrective actions through the SCM system to support effective decision-making

  • Develop, analyze, and continuously improve demand forecasts by evaluating historical sales, market trends, promotional activities, seasonality, and forecast accuracy to support effective business decisions.

  • Monitor market demand and recommend forecast and inventory adjustments based on changing business requirements, product launches, competitive activities, and market trends.

  • Manage inventory targets, including safety stock levels and SKU portfolio, to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and aging inventory.

  • Lead cross-functional demand and inventory planning meetings to align sales forecasts, inventory plans, new product introductions, product transitions, and promotional activities.

  • Prepare, analyze, and communicate supply chain performance reports and KPIs to support management decision-making.

  • Manage factory operations, production planning, material availability, and system master data to ensure stable local manufacturing, accurate data management, and supply continuity.

  • Maintain and continuously improve SCM processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), while identifying and resolving complex supply chain issues to improve operational performance.

  • Communicate with the Global SCM team (HQ, Factory hub, Regional HQ and Thailand).

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master degree is preferred in Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related field

  • Minimum 5-7 years related experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning or any related fields

  • Background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning

  • Strong knowledge of demand planning process within Consumer Goods Industry

  • Experience using SAP (preferred) or other ERP statistical software packages

  • Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues

  • Detail oriented & Extreme accuracy

  • Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities

  • Knowledge of turn rates, key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.

  • Good Multitasking skill and Ability to lead cross-functionally.

  • Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory.

  • Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory.

  • Good command of English and Korea both spoken and written with computer literacy.
